1960-1969
“Albayrak Dry Cleaning” began operations as Turkey’s first dry cleaning chain. Alba Makina San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. was established to meet the demands of Turkey’s growing textile and apparel sectors.
1969-1985
At its two workshops in central Istanbul, the company manufactured Turkey’s first centrifuge machine, industrial ironing table, steam hand iron, central electric boiler, and steam ironing robots, thereby providing domestic companies with locally produced machinery.
1985-1990
The first factory in Istanbul has begun operations with the aim of increasing production capacity and advancing technology. Along with Roll-Type and Belt-Type Fabric Bonding Presses, Knitwear Ironing Conveyors, and Knitwear Unrolling Machines, Turkey’s first steam generator was also produced.
1990-1995
To take production to the next level, a 750-square-meter production facility was launched in Malkara, Tekirdağ. High-tech automated ironing systems, such as PLC-controlled pants ironing robots and computerized jacket and pants presses, were developed.
1995-2000
The Malkara production facilities have reached 3,000 square meters. Production has begun on guipure finishing machines, chimney-type steam boilers, and horizontal steam generators.
2000-2005
With the opening of our new headquarters and showroom in Istanbul’s industrial hub, we have expanded our production facility to 12,000 square meters. In addition to innovative products such as digital temperature-controlled hand irons and proportional steam generators, we have entered a new sector with our automated storage systems.
2005-2010
Capacity and quality were enhanced through investments in automation and advanced manufacturing technologies. International sales were strengthened through offices and representative offices in the Middle East, North Africa, Russia, and Europe. Integrated solutions began to be offered through turnkey mechanical engineering projects and complete factory projects. Fabric Fixing Machines and Cascade Steam Generators were added to the product portfolio.
2010-2020
Our production facilities have reached their current capacity with a total of 32,000 square meters of covered area. Equipped with state-of-the-art CNC machines, smart building automation, and countless industrial and social improvements implemented in line with Industry 4.0, we will continue to produce Turkey’s new “firsts” in the near future.
